Can England achieve an entry in the Guiness Book of World Records? They certainly think so, with the Nintendo DS!

DS: London group have made a partnership with London Games Festival Fringe to attempt a new world record. The plan is to try and cram as many Nintendo DS players as possible into the one room. With a venue already booked, they now simply need to find 400-500 willing participants of any age from across England.

The current world record is 381 people. In order to achieve a new world record, every participant in the room simply has to play any game of their choosing for five minutes.

Best reason to ever play a video game?

I'm really jealous, if I still lived in England I would've signed up already. Perhaps I'll try and organise one in Sydney so I can pull the record from underneath them a day after.
