GTAIV To Get Trophies

In what could be considered a fantastic move by Rockstar, it appears that someone has found that GTAIV is being patched with trophies. Whilst no details as to when (if not already) the trophies are being released, you can find the list of trophies at the source, courtesy of PS3Trophies.co.uk.

  I know I'll be playing this game again... I've got a lot of frees even though I'm in my final year at uni, and most of the frees mean I finish uni at 10 or 11am so I can always come home for a bit of GTAIV, Bioshock etc...

    Fortunately I hate selling games, I don't know why but I'll never sell a game, even if I don't play on it anymore. So I've still got my copy to be able to go through it and get the trophies
    
    You could always rent or borrow a friends copy

This is great, I always wanted a reason to actually play GTAIV, and I think this is it. I can finally get going and get 100% on this game

I just hope that the Online ones are all retroactive, because I don't want to have to find someone that's killed a Rockstar employee already.

    No, you basically get the trophy if you either killed a rockstar employee OR you killed someone that has killed one (or if they had killed someone and so on). Essentially most of the people online should already have gotten this "trophy".
    
    The reason I say that is because as well as getting this trophy, the above also unlocks that "undead" skin for your character, so if you've got it, then hopefully when you go online this trophy should be unlocked (so there should essentially be two trophies which are retroactive - they being the two online ones).

  For me I just never cared about completing it, mostly because I knew deep inside that this game would get Trophies. Hmmm this may put a bit of a hamper on things, since I plan to replay The Eye of Judgment for trophies, Warhawk, and I still need to finish Uncharted... and now this... I may not be getting as many games in the coming weeks as I thought I was...

    I just never got 100% because I got to bored of the game to quickly to get 100% Not to mention there really was no point.Without a decent reward, there was no incentive for me to even try.

Nice one, most of them sound great, even if most of them are based off the Xbox 360's achievements. I prefer trophies to achievements.

Looks to me as if the list of trophies is basically a copy of the achievements. Some of the achievements/trophies are good fun to do!

I'm not too keen to play this game again if I'm honest, but having never completed a GTA game to 100% before there is a little voice in my head telling me it must be done. Maybe in half a year or so, after the bitterness goes away

This is awesome. Now I can replay the game! Despite not being my favourite GTA, (actually my least favourite), its still a solid title and worthy of getting trophies on for me.

If anything I'll have to complete this before I get Saints Row 2, because I know that once I play Saints Row, there's no going back to GTAIV.

    Unfortunately my current arrangement with my PS3, a TV and comfortableness doesn't allow me to play my PS3 much (at least not for the next few weeks), so I'm really trying not to get any game unless I absolutely need to, and SR2 isn't one I absolutely need, but it's one that I want. R2 on the other hand is one that I need... I need to know what happens to Nathan Hale
