IGN translates and summarizes an interview with Shinji Hashimoto about the possibility of more Final Fantasy games on the Nintendo DS.

Square Enix is all set to release its biggest DS title yet, Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings. Japan's gaming press has been covering the gambit out of the game leading up to its Thursday Japanese release, with previews, interviews and even the first spoiler-filled strategy guides.

    That will be tough to compete with FF3 was a good game.

    So hopefully this will end up to be a good game as well.

    Personally I think FFXIIRW looks much better than FFIII DS; like I said earlier, I think RW plays to the strengths of the DS much more than FFIII DS did.
