Silent Hill: Homecoming was refused clasification in Australia because of all its violence.

Australia will get a censored version with less violence in 2009.

When we spoke to Atari about its reaction to the ban and plans for the game, the representative mentioned that they hoped to get Konami to tone down the high impact violence scenes so that it could be reclassified as MA15+ and allow the game to be released in Q1 2009. We'll let you know as soon as Atari is able to confirm these plans.

That won't make people any happier.Probably 98% of people who visit gaming news frequently will import the game.

Rarely does an RC'd game not get released as an edited version.

Believe me, you are definitely forgiven. Now I LOVE living in Aus, but sometimes I feel like it would be better to move to another country.I am so sick of not having a damn 18+ rating.

Sometimes I also think it'd be better to move to another country, but then I remember our awesome beaches, perfect weather, and free health insurance. Then I feel better.
