Wii Speak was announced earlier in the summer, to be used with Animal Crossing: City Folk. Basically what it is is something that lets you talk over Wifi.

Now it has been announced that there will be a channel that you can use Wii Speak with. What you do is talk to people, that you've added with a friend code, and you Miis appear on the screen. When you buy Wii Speak, you enter a code that lets you download the channel.

Wii Speak is releasing on the same day as Animal Crossing: City Folk, and is $29.99.

Nintendo has announced that its upcoming Wii Speak microphone peripheral will be used in more than Animal Crossing: Let's go to the City.

The peripheral will be released in North America on November 16 priced $29.99 and will include a code which will grant access to the new Wii Speak Channel. Once downloaded the channel will enable Wii users to chat with friends (Friend Code required) with their Miis appearing on screen to mimic what's being said. Up to four friends will be able to take part in a chat.

they need to stop with the stupid wii names.

I have a new name for them tho, Wii lame. Its the next cutest thing to come out Nintendos "innovative" mind. How do you play it? easy!

Just come up with dumb titles that you can call your creations by. Its fun for the whole family, even your grandma can pick up and play.

and its FREE!!!!(note: game might not attract hardcore gamers)

It's not valid. It's like saying that we shouldn't call an Xbox controller an Xbox controller.

If you had any reading comprehension you would've figured it out by reading the first sentence, the rest is just added sarcasm.
