Since the Deus Ex 3 teaser trailer debuted last November, information on the highly anticipated sequel has been scant. Now, however, plot and gameplay details have been revealed in the current issue of PC Zone.

As was rumored, Deus Ex 3 will be a prequel, set in 2027 (25 years before the first game). The main character is Adam Jensen, a private security officer at a biomechanical augmentation lab. Biomechanical augmentations were the precursor to the nanotechnology the player characters in the first two Deus Ex possessed.
