With so many problems with SKATE, it seems that Black Box have decided to take a different approach on the game. Namely, by making the Playstation 3 version of the game the lead version, so that they aren't in the line of fire as they were with Skate which was considered to have a lower gameplay value for the PS3 version due to it having been the port.

Black Box has confirmed that the PS3 will be the lead format for Skate 2, due to criticisms levelled at its predecessor.

As long as they get the game out in time and and running great on both systems, then I don't think this really is that important at all to fans of the series.

I think it's important to those that got the PS3 version previously, and were given the "bad end of the deal". EA is of course known to have done this many times, with games such as "Orange Box" which was filled with bugs that were never fixed.

I agree, it matter more to PS3 users, who has been getting shitty ports.

I don't remember any controversy over Skate being ported? This just seems like a Nyah Nyah kind of thing.
