Tekken 6 NOT coming to the PS3, but Bloodline Rebellion will!

In a special press conference that was held yesterday, Namco Bandai announced that the original version of Tekken 6 that was released at late 2007, will not reach the consoles, but the newer version named 'Bloodline Rebellion' will, and will have more content than it's arcade version!

Namco Bandai held a special press conference yesterday (just a few days before Tokyo Game Show), where they went over new and upcoming titles and other special announcements. One of the announcements was that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be heading to the PLAYSTATION 3 (no word when) and will have MORE content than the arcade version (big surprise!)… IGN was at the event and mentioned in their latest podcast that the PS3 will NOT be getting the regular version of Tekken 6, which was released late 2007 in arcades. More news as we get it!

      No, Tekken 6 had weapons too, but the weapons are just custom items you buy for you character and each one has some special move that are pretty much average that's it...

      It's actually a smart decision... releasing the original T6 would be a waste of time pretty much...

    Title sure as hell is confusing, heh. This is still Tekken 6, but just an updated version of it, like Dark Resurrection.

          The human race is so predictable.I'm actually surprised it took so long for someone to say something like that.I guess it's part of the human pride that makes people hate to think even in the slightest that someone else thinks they are better than them.The only people I KNOW I am better than are those stupid childish ignorant people on the net that are commonly found on youtube.You know, them snot nosed punks who have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives than to abuse others because of difference in opinion.

          With that said, I just typed that comment because I was surprised that people didn't truly understand the title.

          You're taking this joke way too seriously. An average person reading this title would think that T6 WON'T come to the PS3, when in reality, it is...just with some extras. That's what's confusing about it. This title will lure people in thinking that the game won't come at all, and we're getting some spin-off or something.

          Gamesta just because you figured it out before anyone else, doesn't mean the title isn't misleading.

          I honestly read this as exactly what Storm said. The title isn't obviously its confusing and misleading.

          With that said though, good news. Can't wait.

    It's just Tekken 6, with two new characters, 4 new stages, more items, more customization, and better game balance.

      How morally pretentious you are. Vunerable and unstable by the way you react and type to things. Take it on the bloody chin; never seen someone act to crude when a small bit of sarcasm if thrown at you on the message board.
