I'm not referring to McCain vs. Obama, but Brock vs. Hermes in the Maricopa County District 1 Supervisor race. Ignoring the fact that none of these kids are probably qualified for the position- Brock decides to launch a smear campaign against Hermes, citing his 'Halo Addiction' as one of his 'qualifications'. That was his ace in the hold, not the fact that "Hermes is reported as "DEFENDANT FAILED TO APPEAR" at four court appointments", no the Halo thing is much more important.

Worth a looksee for a cheap laugh.

Just goes to show you kiddies - if you ever plan on running for public office - be very weary and careful of your past.

And you should probably delete your facebook/myspace, or at least block it from public access (at least until after the election) - same goes for when you are applying to schools or jobs.

lol, the idea that a potential employer would check your myspace/facebook is laughable. 90% of the people I've had interviews with would probably reply "facewhat?" when they heard the term facebook.

It was actually proven that 20% of the college admissions boards in America try to access Facebook/Myspace to get an uncandid look at the potential candidate for admission.

I can't give numbers or figures for employers, but I had to go through a full background search for my last job, so meh... Also - many companies hire outside investigatory companies to do that kind of research... but regardless, everyone should protect their identities on the internet.

The first thing any good lawyer will advise you to do is to remove your MySpace, Facebook and any other similar profiles from the internet. It can and has been used in court cases to belittle the defense.

I don't have a myspace/facebook account though, so I'm safe from all the rapists, stalkers and just general assholes. You guys on other hand...

I don't mind the stalkers... it is when they are carrying weaponry that things get hairy.

This article is absolutely hysterical and kinda sad what it says about the going ons in American politics (during an election year) at the same time.

So true! Actually - the gaming demo marketing people and game publishers care about skews a little older : 18-34yo males (though females are representing and are just as valuable now)
