Electronic Theatre reports on KOEI's unveiling of two new handheld projects - Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce for PlayStation Portable and Monster Racing for NintendoDS.

At the Tokyo Game Show today, KOEI revealed new details on the company’s upcoming portable exclusives. These latest offerings are designed to create communities for gamers, centred on fun and engaging Multi-Player experiences.

    It is interesting that they are calling it a new name. Instead of "Multi Raid", it is "Strikeforce", eh?

    A month later and I'm still confused by this new direction. Did the DW crew really need to be shoe-horned into a Monster Hunter clone? Couldn't they have made new characters, a stand-alone game?

    Oh well. I really don't mind which way they go since I don't have a PSP (or want one).
