One of the many touted PS3 titles promised to be unveiled at TGS Koei's mystery game has been revealed to be Uncharted Waters, a MMO which has up until now been available exclusively on the PC. This European based game will give you the option to choose your home nation along with a career choice of adventurer, merchant or soldier. It will share servers with its computer based counterpart and boasts updated graphics and interface.

By now, it should be clear that genres that were once limited to the PC are beginning to flock to the more popular consoles. Sony Online Entertainment has already announced that all their future projects will come to the PlayStation 3, and now, another MMORPG - if it can be accurately described as such - is coming: it's Koei's Uncharted Waters.

great a small way sony will get PS3 owners to pay for online

Pretty cool that PS3 will start to support MMO's, makes use with some of us with sucky computers who can't run Next-gen MMO's/games...

I think it sounds like an excellent game.

For some reason, it seems familiar. Probably saw it online somewhere.

I do remember that there was a scrapped MMO or something, for the PS3 way on in the early days of the console (perhaps before it was even released)....Could be wrong about that though.

This'll probably cost money, but if there is a free trial, I'll of course give it a run

I'm not too into MMOs either, but I may give it a go or at least watch some gameplay first.
