DAMN!!!! Either someone is going to feel the pain of this screw up.......or they are afraid they won't sell many copies in the UK. My bet is the first.

I doubt it. Think about it, someone wants to order SR2, how many people first think 'Ah, I'll order it from Tesco?'

One, at most, and that's only because he works there!

So, why not make it a lot cheaper then anywhere else and only make £5 profit on each (or however much they get for it) but let word spread, get a big order with a price-cut for bundle buying and make a little extra money for something that's only a side-part of your business?

      Or something like that anyway.

With these news articles... A LOT OF PEOPLE. Simply put, the internet knows how to spread these offers, and a lot of people have already bought like 4-5 copies of the game.

Hence why they dropped the price.

My point was, if it was full price, how many would have went to Tesco? Now, with the price cut, they're actually making money on a game.

You might be right but I doubt it. Tesco have done this before, as have many other companies. I will bet that it's an employee mistake like usual.

You sir are a star. I've already ordered two copies of the game. Hopefully I'll also get a free one from THQ to review, which'll mean that I can give both of them to Game for £60 Gift Vouchers which I can then spend on two games and (£30 for each game, since Game sell it for £40, they should give at least £30 in the first week or two).

Why would you get a review copy?

How can they sell it for so cheap?

It's almost certainly a mistake on someone's part. Games normally go for £40 new in the UK.

Simple, SR2 sucks and they had no choice but to lower the price knowing full well its its going to suck.

This just seems like another big Tesco deal and not really a mistake.

Something's not right. That is way too cheap for a new video game, regarless what system it's for.
