WipEout HD patched, but comes with strings attached!

Soome good news for people who were experiencing problems with Wipeout HD. A patch has been released to fix this problem. But along with it some bad news. For it to fully work, your going to have to delete your current gamesave. My suggestion, save it to a thumbdrive first, then delete it. Then copy it to your HDD.

Sony has released an update for the PlayStation 3 racer Wipeout HD.

Users had found that the game would freeze if they had more than 50 people on their friends list.

The fix solves that issue, which is good news. However there is some bad news. You're going to have to delete your existing game save.

    That is one way around it, but I wonder. Perhaps the reason why you're forced to delete your gamesave, is because the gamesave contains the issue, or won't work with it or something?

    I'm sure people will find out after they try this though.

    Yeah I was thinking that, chances are the save is the cause of the problem.
