First things first... beware of some Spoilers in the information that is posted below regarding the story of the game:

With some information having already been released thanks to a few magazines and TGS08, more information has come to light today, and it's enough to make any RPG fan start saving money for the game...

Be sure to read the full details at the source.

White Knight Chronicles begins in the kingdom of Balandor, where the player's main character, Leonard, is attending a princess's coming-of-age banquet. When this banquet is raided by an evil corporation called "Wizard," Leonard grabs the princess and leads her to safety into the castle cellars. Down in these cellars, Leonard finds a suit of armor which can transform him into the White Knight, a powerful ancient warrior. Leonard, the princess, and their other companions will use the White Knight's power, along with their other strengths, to take on the forces of Wizard throughout the game.

I love the sheer simplicity of the story that White Knight Chronicles has. It does not go into some weaved complex plot. Those I find arnt always executed well. I bet what story that IS here, will be polished to a mirror shine.

Personally, I think this title is underappreciated by many a PS3 fanboy at the moment, and it will surprise many players. Looks to be really fantastic. Could be THE RPG I enjoy this generation.

I agree with you 100%. But I think this game only really came into the light a couple of days ago. As far as I knew this game didn't even exist say a week ago. It's thanks to Dengeki/Famitsu/TGS08 that this game has actually had a chance to shine.

On top of that the fact that you can play online co-op with a friend and do quests and whatever you gain in online is carried into offline, is a bonus.

I remember the remarkable trailer that they had I belive at e3 2006 or 07. They've kept this game in the dark though as I've havent really heard any info being released inbetween e3's and now TGS.

Wait they had a trailer at E3 2006/2007? I didn't even know that. That tells you just how underappreciated this game is and how it's been low-key for such a long time.

Just epic. This'll be the RPG to beat, I'm sure of it.
