Mirror's Edge appears to be a trilogy. From what Electronic Arts has seen of the developer's progress of Mirror's Edge, they seem to want to branch the game out into a trilogy.

EA is apparently pretty pleased with their upcoming action adventure game Mirror's Edge. The game's not in stores yet but they're already thinking sequels - two sequels, to be exact.

Seems a lot of games nowadays are being made for trilogies. I think Mass Effect and AC were two that are meant to be trilogies.

I never said that was a bad thing. I was just pointing it out, that's all.

as long as the quality is consistent then trilogies are a very good thing.

/amen! But also if they ALLOW YOU TO BRING OVER YOUR SAVE GAME FILE! Sorry for the caps, but kinda bummed that Saints Row 2 didn't allow you to bring over your last save... weak... Hoping that Mass Effect 2, Ultimate Alliance 2, Assassins Creed, and (if it ever happens) Too Human 2 allows you to bring over your save file from the last game... This won't work with all sequels, but just games that set up a continued storyline/narrative.

How cool would it be in Mass Effect 2 to see the results of your actions, like letting the insect Queen live and seeing that your choice was the right one (that insect race becomes peaceful) or wrong (it all starts up again)... Seeing choices in one game carry over to the next leads to a far more immersive and cooler experience... would also warrant keeping the original on the shelf (instead of trading it in) in case you want to replay the entire experience again..

I believe the hack games allowed save game carryover... not sure, couldnt get into that franchise.

Yea, trilogies are nice when they don't let up slack or get to comfortable. I just don't trust the EA logo at all.
