3 men tried to smuggle over 900 grams of ecstasy through Australia by hiding it inside PS2 cases and a game box.
Clever- but not clever enough.
They face a maximum of life imprisonment and/or at $825,000 fine.
The Australian Federal Police arrested and charged two Canadians, both 18, and a New Zealander, 20, at a Surfers Paradise address on Friday.
A police spokesman said Customs officers detected a parcel containing the drugs at Sydney's international mail facility on October 5.
Three packets of tablets were found inside the video game machine and one packet was found in the cover of a game disc. The AFP monitored the consignment to the Queensland address.

if it were me personally i would have used a NES or N64 case, i mean who would think you would have drugs in a Nintendo console
The exterior dimensions on an NES are 10"x8"x3.5"
Whereas on a Playstation 2 they are substantially smaller. (in width and height at least)
I had to look into these things for my NES PC case mod. I thought about putting one in a PS2 case as well, but it was substantially more difficult.
They are comparable as far as empty space volume goes, but for ease of use and fitting of components, the NES wins hands down.
Drat
I'm just saying...
Could be around $5 per pill/blot which is usually around 1g, they were caught with over 900 grams - you are looking at close to $4,500 or so in cash.
