The WoW tournament for the BlizzCon 2008 that was held in the Anaheim Convention Center - located in California - has finally come to a hault, with German-based team "Nihilum Plasma" taking the grand prize of $75,000 and a replica Frostmourne, the blade in Wrath of the Lich King.

Check out the seeds and videos of the matches in the source.

*Eight teams from around the world gathered in the Anaheim Convention Center to battle it out in front of 15,000 spectators, with many more on pay per view watching with their polar bear mount.

Fnatic Orz, #1 ranked seeded 3v3 team online, was knocked down to the consolation bracket after their encounter with Nihilum Plasma in the third round. They were met by the second American Team, Selective Queuers, whose momentum was too much for the fan favorite as they advanced to the finals.

If I remember right, they also gave away a Frostmourne at either Blizzard WWI 2008 or Blizzcon 2007. It's worth quite a bit. The retail version sells for around $400, and this is much nicer.
