WIth the the net a buzz with the news of major titles being pirated and spread around the net, it seems one major retailer in Australia has broken the official Microsoft release date (street date) on Fable II>

Check out the story and see how the situation unfolds as more news becomes available.

It seems some lucky Australians managed to pick up Fable 2 today (still a week from release) from various Kmart stores around the country. Reminiscent of the fiasco surrounding Mass Effect, this leak could lead to the complete lifting of the recommended street date for the sale of Fable 2, currently scheduled for a 23rd October release.

I think they need to do away with street dates altogether. Makes it unfair in certain situations for everyone else.

It's especially torturous working when working in a game store and you have games like Fable II staring you in the face in the back room at least a week before you can touch it. D:
