Here's a cute little idea ...

Have you ever wondered what the Final Fantasy VII characters might sound like if they could sing? No? Well luckily, almost any Japanese person who is remotely famous will have sung a song sometime during their life. So, here are a few songs sung by the Japanese voice-actors of the FFVII Compilation ...

^ Maaya Sakamoto (Aerith's voice actor)

^ Toshiyuki Morikawa (Sephiroth's voice actor)

^ Shoutaro Morikubo (Kadaj's voice actor)

^ Yumi Kakazu (Yuffie's voice actor)

^ GACKT (Genesis' voice actor) :thick:

They sing very good, but I particularly enjoyed the song Showtaro Morikubo sung.

I can't take singing in Japanese seriously unless it's aggressive including such elements as death growls.

    Like Sex Machineguns for example!

But no, since listening to soft Japanese music as part of my Japanese studies it just doesn't work, language structure and all that. Just my opinion though, doesn't mean their voices aren't decent.

Showtaro Morikubo aka Kaduj's was awesome. Yuffie's song was very catchy as well.
