Remember that person who complained about the song from LittleBigPlanet with words from the Qur'an in it? Well, looks like he had good reason. One Muslim group seems to be pissed about the song's inclusion in the game's soundtrack, although Sony has already delayed the game so the song can be removed.

The "social platforming" game is already gathering rave reviews, but it hasn't proven popular with one Muslim group, which issued a complaint to the game's publisher Sony concerning one background music track. Performed by award-winning Malian musician Toumani Diabate, the song quotes two verses from the Qur'an. Many Muslims consider the mixing of music and scripture to be deeply offensive.

Even though im a muslim, but seriously they should shut the hell up. It was not soy or MM who put the quran in the song, but the artist himself. So they should be taking a pissy fit to the artist not the devs.

@hawkman, no problem, I added it for you

Hehe, it's good to hear that. They say "many Muslims", but I get the feeling that may just be assumption. Damn journalists.

Sounds like they are referring to the dude who brought it up in the first place.......Yahoo must be owned by fox now since they're beefing up stories and taking things out of context to fit what they need for a story.

Good catch, I think you are correct about that one. I thought it was weird they didn't mention the name of the group.

Anyone else that really wants to hear the song? I'm getting more and more curious.

And on another note, I can't help but laugh at the silly Muslims. I mean, come on! How many people would even notice that the lyrics came from the Qur'an?

Wouldn't this be advertising the Qu'ran? Therefore promoting it so much more than demeaning it? I'm not sure why they're angry.
