Some class changes are abound for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR), and the details are here for ya.

Four more classes were planned for the game following the two it cut back in July, but one will likely be switched out for another, according to developer Mythic's Mark Jacobs. The plan is for either the Dwarf Hamerer or the Greenskin Choppa to be taken out, and another (probably) will be put in its place. If they took a vote it could be kind of like those crappy reality TV shows..

The other two classes planned are the Empire's Knight of the Blazing Sun on the Order side, and the Dark Elf Black Guard (pictured here) on the Destruction side.

"Well, one of them we hope to put back in," Mark Jacobs told Eurogamer and GamesIndustry.biz when he spoke to us last week.

"I can't tell you which yet, that's a surprise. We're probably going to be replacing one and putting in another class in its place. But we'll be talking about that in a few months."

Apparently Mythic has high standards for what it wants to put into the game, and one of the classes didn't make the grade.

"When we cut them out, one of the things we said is that if we can't make those classes great we're not putting them back in, and one of the careers we just couldn't get great," he explained.

"We're not going to put it in just so we can go 'see guys, we put it back in'. If it's not great, it doesn't belong in the game."

Jacobs assured fans: "There will still be four going back in, it just wont be necessarily the same four."

I really hope they bring the greenskin's Choppa class back.

Me too. One of the reasons I wanted this game from the beginning was the fact that you could play as a Choppa. I've had to play a Black Orc just to get my greenskin dosage...

Same here, only because the greenskins don't have a pure MDPS class, and a goblin choppa just doesn't sound scary.
