Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

It seems Microsoft are finally doing something about the terrible abuse that is hurled across XboxLIVE every day. It's so bad that many gamers, both old and young fear going online.
Some refuse to due to terrible past experiences. This new patent will allow Microsoft the censor the XboxLIVE in "real-Time" cutting out any delay or human involvement.
Check the story out with related links.
Do you, like me, hate pre-pubescent kids screaming profanity into their mics when playing online on Live?
Tired of the drunken swear-songs, racist or sexist commentary from the late night crowd?
Sick of having to press mute or hate having to say to your kids: No you cant play online because there are a bunch of idiots on there?
Well it looks like Microsoft is doing something about it. Cheers all round! Or are there deeper sinister implications that I had not considered when begging for this to occur?
My disgust with what happens on Live is well known. Microsoft has not been blind to the abuses Live users have been perpetrating or been getting but has hasnt seemed able to do anything significant about it. That may now change.

Sorry im an adult, and personally I enjoy listening to swear words if it happens at the right times. Can be pretty hilarious.
Better be optional.
I for one hate people cursing to often. If someone curses to much, it pisses me off and makes me want to shove my fist down their throat.Just like I HATE comedians who swear every 2nd word.
i wouldn't care if they censor the racist bullshit, but it would be pretty lame to just censor all the 'bad words'.
somehow i can't help but feel this is no coincidence when coupled with the 'new xbox live experience'...
I don't mind a few profane wordshere and there, especially between friends who know when the words are made in a joking manner. It's the prepubescent little kids on Xbox Live who keep screaming swear words they probably can't even spell that annoy me.
But I think some people will find clever ways to get past the filter.
Maybe it's just me but I rarely have any problems with mouthy tards on Live.
Edit; and LOL at the authors comment that some people are scared to go online. I can just imagine someone cowering behind the couch, biting their nails.
A small (large) portion of underage XBL users are screaming racism and profanities, and for that reason they penalize the adults who are "allowed" to use such language.
No matter what they do to implement this, they will not please everyone. If they put a votekick option - it will be abused. If they take away our voice capabilities altogether - we won't be able to effectively play Halo or COD as a team.
Thanks you little shits for ruining it for the rest of us.
If I want to say "Eat shit and die" after I no scope someone, then I will say it. I'm 20 years old, and God help you if you tell me I can't express myself when playing with other adults.
Halo 3 and COD4 are M rated aren't they? These little punks shouldn't be playing in the first place, let alone using the online features.
Look at the bright side- at least we don't need to exchange friend codes.
It's always the minority that spoil it for the majority. It's true that many parents who love playing games do not allow the kids on Live any more, even UNO is out of bounds for many. You shouldn't have to be assaulted by screaming little "rodents" and racists etc when playing online with your family.
Unfortunately, some think it is funny and even dare I say, adult to do so. I'm no prude, have hung with the ruff guys and had my share of conflicts, and don't mind sharing a few of the swear worss around. Plus I've heard a great deal over the many years, but there is a place and a time for everything.
Sure, if you're with friends, and they all know you, and choose to be on your friends list, then that's fine, it's how you as a gamer enjoy yourself with friends, if that is how you do do it. But in the public arena, there does need to be some level of refrain.
Remember, we ALL signed and agreed to a set of rules and Code Of Conduct when we signed up for XboxLIVE. so MS do have the legal right to both monitor (although this will not be done by humans thankfully) and they have the legal right to remove those who break their rules and Terms Of Use.
If that is the case, and it is, then they must have means in which to ensure they can be seen to be doing what they can to stop or slow this thing down. It will not remove it, or even stop it completely, but legally they must show they are at least doing something.
I can't tell you how many times my roommate and I are tk'd because some little prick is upset that we picked up the sniper rifle.
Instead of grabbing another weapon and heading out, they decide to follow us, while bitching and moaning about how we are going to lose because they didn't get the sniper, and demanding it back.
They give away our position, they shoot or melee us out of scope when we are trying to legitimately play, and ultimately they just tk us and get booted.
There's a reason we play mostly Doubles and MLG now... its just not worth it.
Dude: You got raped.
Kid: Shut up you beep im gunna beeping rape your mother you beep beep, beep you!
