Soulja Boy is at it again. Dissing the PS3 and claiming undefeated on Xbox Live

Judging from your reactions to this article not many were happy with Soulja Boy's claim to fame last week. Unfortunately he hasn't stopped there. Talking to MTV News he claims so far he is undefeated on any of his online games. Even mentioning one particular player who badmouthed him the whole game, until he got so mad at losing that he quit. He again attacks the PS3 as well, saying that all it has is MGS4.

Last week, on the set for his next music video, Soulja Boy told MTV News that the challenge has been going well. "I ain't lost none yet. I'm undefeated," he boasted.

If there are going to be some public challenges, though, they've got to be staged on Xbox 360. Soulja Boy isn't too positive about the competition and doesn't want to face anyone on any other system. "I don't mess with PS3," he said, though he does own a white import version of the system, which he barely uses. "Sorry, they suck. Real talk. ... They ain't got no games. They had 'Metal Gear Solid IV.' That was the only good game they had, period. Xbox [has] 'Halo,' 'Gears of War,' 'Call of Duty.' " (Technically, "Call of Duty" is also on PS3, but it's clear which system is number one in Soulja Boy's house.)

      I don't know that I want him as the voice of the 360 gamer. I mean seriously there is already enough hatred for the 13 year old live gamer screaming profanities. You really want them to have a leader?

      And having an opinion is fine. But from what I have heard he sucks at every game he has ever played. He could at least be honest about his complete lack of skill.

    Ok - here we go then - someone draft a formal letter to this Soulja Boy fellow - and invite him to a closed XBL tournament hosted/sponsored by Neoseeker.com and GameGrep.com.

    We will then video the entire thing, watch him get his ass kicked by neoseeker's finest, and as he so eloquently put it "youtube it"


    That ought to take him down a few pegs - plus gain us some real wicked publicity.

          I know, I already explained why he's not being serious, but people are showing their true colors on articles like this, its pretty sad.

          It has nothing to do with me being a fanboy, since I only listened to 4 songs from him and liked it over at youtube one day. Its just im able to see if he's being realistic and serious, since I share those qualities, he isn't at all being serious.

      I think its a light hearted joke about the PS3 not having great games or exclusives like the 360, which in a way he's right. However to take anything he says seriously, especially on the net is dumb. Just have a chuckle and laugh for once. I mean christ im the most realistic and serious person here, and even I can see the underlining joke. God.

          Too bad a few of those games you listed aren't even out yet, LBP, R2.

          But I think he's referring to the library as a whole. If you look at both, the 360 does have a shit load more exclusives and good games in comparison to the PS3 at the moment. Thats not to say the PS3 will stay like this forever, no, just at the current time the 360 library is the best. This is just fact.

    Whilst I personally contest the 360 having a greater lineup of exclusives, saying the PS3 has none is pathetic and misinformed.

    Uncharted is a masterpiece. For me anyway. Uncharted is my BEST PS3 game alongside MGS4. Naughty Dog do not make a lot of games. When they do, its sublime and stunning.

    But as Final Blade says, he seems to refer to the PS3 library as a whole. Which does indicate PS3 seriously lacking.

        I share the similar mindset. Im sure the PS3 will come right. Its evident that they have make many mistakes this generation. But I can see the 2009-2010 period truly pushing the PS3.

        Its conversely with the 360. Up until now, the 360 has been epic. I have never experienced such a lineup of games. Yet I truly do not see many upcoming things from Microsoft which will interest me, relative to the success of the past few years.
