Gears of War 2 Now Being Pirated

Too bad for Cliffy B and his team over at Epic, with only weeks away from Gears of War 2's release date their game has been uploaded onto the web for pirated versions.

Team Xbox is reporting that Gears of War 2 has been uploaded to various pirate sites. This copy was forged from the NTSC edition of the game by a group called "x360inT." This copy is composed of 73 RAR files and clocks in around 6.76GB.

    And who didn't see this coming? It was bound to happen eventually, especially since other games in the last few days was stated the same for 360.

    Im not going to sit here all morally dignified and say that Piracy is illegal, immoral, and people shouldnt do it.

    Because I used to pirate all the time. I stopped now. Even though my statement holds no bearing, I truly feel sorry for the developers who get ripped off by piracy. I saw the errors of my ways, and went and purchased the games I pirated. Still, I was in the wrong.

    I hope more people in the future see that priacy is extremely negative in the long run. PC gamers are missing out on this and Fable II. Its disappointing but I cannot complain, I contributed to the problem.
