GTAIV Trophies coming this Monday!

The trophy patch many PS3 owners have been waiting for is releasing this monday. No I'm not talking about MGS4 but GTA4 of course.

Is it too late? Are people done with GTA4 now that we have Saint Row 2? Who knows. Either way R* has recognized that Trophies DO get people coming crawling back to play your game and what better time to do that then when Saint Row 2 is now playing in most PS3 bluray drives.

With so many great games coming within the next few weeks will people really be rushing back to Liberty City to shoot all 200 pigeons again or are Trophies simply too little too late?
Only time will tell.

If you are on Rockstar Games’ mailing list, you should’ve received the information that the much awaited trophies for Grand Theft Auto IV are coming out on Monday, October 27. The trophies won’t be retroactive though, meaning it won’t just unlock the trophies by loading your save file. Well have fun starting over!

Will you start over just for the sake of trophies?

    With so many excellent games coming out, this task will be taken up by me a little later down the track. Still awesome to see trophy support on this awesome game!

    I'll defintely start it from scratch just to get them. Didn't stop me with Uncharted.

    Wow. Way to release them at the same time LBP and Motorstorm come out. Won't bother with these until I'm bored sometime next summer.

      Retroactivity isn't possible for anything other than online stats. If Criterion proved anything, it's that.

    This is crap timing, since I've been having just soo much fun with SR2, I really don't want to put in GTAIV anymore. I may play it later, but not anytime soon anyway.

    Besides, my friend just got a R2 Beta code, so I'll be downloading that from his account, and enjoying that till R2 comes out.

    Meh, if I eventually don't have other games to play, I might play GTA IV and get a few trophies.

    Especially if there are added bonuses for doing so, as rumored...

    Wake me up when MGS4 gets trophies. No way in hell I'm going through 100% of GTA again. I know I said the same about Burnout, but it turned out that those trophies were easy. I don't have the hours to put into GTA a second time.

      Personally, I don't think I'll do MGS4 again. Getting the stealth camo and bandanna was a bitch the first time. =/

    Definitely too late for me.. I get bored of GTA IV by the time I get back from the first date with Michelle... I've completed the story once and I've no intention of doing it again, even for the trophies.

    Don't have my copy atm.Plus there's to many good games out or coming out to bother with an old boring game like GTAIV.

    I mean just today when I picked up Midnight Club there was also Bioshock, Far Cry 2, Dead Space and Fracture.

      i tried going through it again just for the 'complete the game in under 30 hours' achievement on 360. it's pretty bad the 2nd time around. but then again, i didn't even like it the first time.

      have fun with that.

    Shitty timing on their part. I didn't receive the e-mail either, but can't say I would jump back on it regardless. I got R2 Beta code, so will be busy with that and LBP.
