PS3 Fanboys Attack Gears of War 2's Metacritic Score

On Metacritic, one of the Playstation 3's big titles LittleBigPlanet has an unusually low user-score of 6.4/10, compared to the positive 95% the game has recieved from professional reviewers. According to various game sites, it appears as though Xbox 360 fanboys are on the attack, giving the game ridiculously low user-scores and negative comments.

To retaliate, Playstation 3 fanboys have targetted Gear of War 2, with over 1319 users giving the game an overall score of 2.5/10 (and it's still falling).

Those unfamiliar with Metacritic need only to know that it aggregates the scores given by critics on various websites around the web into one “metascore” and also allows users to submit their own scores which are aggregated into a separate user score.

The total amount of users who had submitted a score for LittleBigPlanet at the time of my article was upwards of 2,200 and the result apparently motivated a group PlayStation 3 fanboys to retaliate.
The current user score for the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive, Gears of War 2, is a laughable 4.1 comprised of roughly 375 submissions.

    What a bunch of *bleep* haha. Anyone who did this clearly needs a reality check, or needs to grasp some form of a life. Fanboyism to the extreme and its filthy.

    Both should be great titles. Both should have their scores left bloody well alone.

      Doubtful since LBP isn't actually out yet. The first legal copies should be hitting the streets today.

      Same with GoW2 it comes out in 2 weeks. The people rating these games probably haven't played them at all.

        It was delayed because of a recall do to some "suspicious" lyrics in one of the background songs. Otherwise it would have been out about a week ago.

    This reminds me of way-back-when in the PS2/ Xbox console war. Some dude gave MGS2 a 1/10. The funny thing is, in the review he said "This is actually a good game, but people have been giving xbox games bad scores so I am gonna give PS2 games bad scores"

    I thought it was so ridiculous, but this is even worse because its a joint effort with multiple people.

    This is the same deal as with LittleBigPlanet. Bunch of fanboys just randomly giving out shitty scores for such stupid reasons as "it's ghey." Don't believe the user ratings until the game is actually out and people have actually played it.
