Having been released in the UK back in June (on the exact same day as Metal Gear Solid 4), and in the US a month later, CivRev came under the spotlight by many a number of players for a shoddy online service, and some even didn't like the single player mode. However, 2K listened to all the bug reports and complaints, and got working to solve these, eventually coming up with the patches 1.10, 1.20 and 1.21. Whilst each patch fixed one small aspect of the game, the multiplayer mode got considerably worst, and to fix it, 2K decided to spend even more time creating and testing the latest patch.

Having taken approximately two months to arrive, the patch is finally live, worldwide, and fixes a number of Online AND Offline Issues. If you'd like to see the change log for this patch, please check the alternative source on the right.

Note that the XBOX360 version of the patch is currently waiting for approval by Microsoft, and once approved should be appearing on your XBOX360 shortly.

Hi guys!

Patch 1.30 has officially been approved by Sony internationally and is now available for download worldwide.

Thanks for your patience!

well i haven't played this since i got it and honestly i might pick it up again because it is fun but the problem was mainly the fact that it took so long to finish one game. But i'll gladly pick it up if i get the time and download the patch

You'll be happy to know that they got rid of the "XXX is not producing anything" message as part of the patch. Now you simply need to change the city to work primarily on Gold/Science, and it wont produce any hammers, so you wont get that message.
