It appears the pirates have struck again, but Microsoft isn't being so kind with it! With the New Xbox Experience being leaked to torrent services around the web, it appears that they are striking back for bad behavior. Anyone with the NXE on the their system is getting their Live Access disabled until the 19th of November, it's official release date. Not only that, but there is always the possibility of a permaban from the system for being... damn, I cannot think of pirate reference. Best to avoid the new service until the 19th, it's not that far away.

It took no time at all but the New Xbox Experience has been leaked onto the internet. According to tipsters, someone who was invited to the NXE has made the update available in downloadable form online which -- like all other Xbox 360 dashboard updates -- has the ability to update any console with a USB thumb drive.

No bans have been reported yet, but would it be that much of a surprise? Their big update is being pirated.. if you cannot wait for it properly, I'm sure they can take you out. :L

Well at least they are getting smarter. Disabling xbox live is a pretty obvious deterrant, and its almost like they knew it was going to get pirated or something.

It was a pretty nice deterrent, but I'm going to be honest. I wasn't even aware that they could update it by USB drive, or I might've tried it myself. I really don't want to wait, haha.

      Everything eventually leaks.

This is kind of strange though, why not just wait? Many features are meant to be used by a party, which would be pretty hard to find.

I didn't know you could install this thing on your own either, but anyone who actually had to have it early deserves to get their shit shut down anyway. It's not even that big a deal.

The simple solution would be to not hook your 360 up to internet until the 19th if you're going to install the NXE. Of course, that's assuming you don't care enough to go two weeks w/o XBL or have a second console to test such things on.

The simple solution would be to get better security on Microsofts end of things i mean fair enough a game on a solid disc getting pirated, thats technically out of Microsoft's hands although it happens for every game on the *bleep*ing platform these days but digital code that doesn't even have a disc release thats pathetic.

You'd think people could just wait when it comes out in less than a month now.
