Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

Gears 2 is almost upon us, and so are several other great games, but one has to asks ones self, is Gears 2's MP up to the current line-up of intense fire-fighting Multiplayers that are coming out at the same time. COD 4 pulled it from top of the pile and kept it off, could Left 4 Dead do the same with it's full-on frantic co-operative MP aspects? And COD 5 is just around the corner . . .
Check the videos out before jumping to conclusions or allowing fanboism to cloud your view. It's a simple question, is there a possibility that Gears needs more in its MP now . . The site discusses the possibilities . . you can vote on the poll as well.
Left 4 Dead has its work cut out for it on release date. With a sea of already existing, tried and tested FPS games to choose from and probably one of the biggest months in gaming, what this game can offer will hopefully be a fresh alternative to what the console already has to offer. Personally I think this underdog here will leave GOW 2s Multiplayer aspect for dead due mainly to its intensity.
The concept behind Left 4 Dead should be enough to prove that they are onto a winning formula. A recipe of Zombies mixed with survival co-op in my book is a recipe for success.
Playing alongside others to actually accomplish the set objectives and having to rely on each other to advance adds a greater depth to the game.
