Time Magazine: Spore In Top 20 Best Inventions, Wii Fit In Top 10 Gadgets

Let's start with Spore. Spore (PC) has been rated 20th best invention of 2008. The concept of creating your own life form and then take care of it through the civilisations as the species thrives was just too enticing for Time Magazine to pass up on.

Wii Fit won best gadget of the year for the obvious reason that it's a great and fun way to lose weight, something crucially needed in this current day and age. It's something which appeals to the average modern day person, unlike running or hitting the old gym. It takes good exercise and hides it under a blanket of fun. The perfect training program.

    Good to see Wii Fit on there, it was a new direction they took using the platform which I really liked to see. Variation is something which isn't oft followed with gaming.

    Wii Fit Is very awesome, it works very well too. I use it for an hour and a half Monday - Friday. Ive burnt off 21 ponds i the making doing lots of thigs, especially running

    Wii Fit is quite awesome. I think, compared to Wii music and Wii play, its Nintendo at their peak. Its fantastic, and although you can do well without it, its fun and fresh and it makes exercise more enjoyable..for those who need it anyway.
