It seems Steam, the popular gaming client/application is taking a leaf out of Microsoft's book for its upcoming update. Steam Cloud will allow users to upload game saves, screenshots, and other footage - which isn't all that unlike what players can currently do in games such as Halo 3 on the 360.

This release will coincide with the release of the highly anticipated zombie shooter Left 4 Dead on November 6th.

Valve Software's latest attempt at improving your PC gaming experience, dubbed "Steam Cloud," will go live alongside the first public demo of zombie shooter Left 4 Dead on November 6.

Steam users will be pleased (or wary) to hear that the service will allow gamers to upload game saves and settings to Valve's online service. Eventually Valve also plans to use the service to give players a convenient repository for player-created game footage and screenshots, and to automatically download driver updates when detected.
