The world's biggest video game tournament has begun in Cologne, Germany and will run for four days. Over 800 players have come to represent 80 countries in this prestigious event. A total of 14 games will be played including Starcraft, Counter-Strike, Guitar Hero 3, Halo 3 and Project Gotham Racing 4, with a total prize purse of $470,000 US Dollars.

    Keep in mind that since this event is in Germany, it's going to be a pain for North American residents to watch live. The first main stage game today starts at 4 AM Pacific. Previously broadcasted videos can be found in their "WCGTV" section, here.

    I really recommend you all to watch this event, since we're all gamers here. The competition can be quite intense and entertaining, even for casual gamers.
