Usually, new details on video games are always released in May. Reason being? E3. This year though, the video game expo won't be happening until July. The makers of Halo don't think you should wait that long though. Takahashi announced in his blog that there would be new Halo details on May 11th. We don't know what the details are about yet, but any new details on Halo 3 should be good.

Dean Takahashi today revealed via his blog that new details on Halo 3 will be released on May 11. What form those details will take is unknown, whether they relate to the game's story, its multiplayer component or some other element. Halo 3 is currently set to release sometime in Fall 2007.

"The week of May 11 is a big one for previews this year. Typically, this time of year is when E3 is supposed to happen," said Takahashi's original blog post. "We all know it's been postponed until July. But a bunch of companies are unveiling their big titles during May anyway. Microsoft says they're set to unveil details of Halo 3 on May 11. A number of other companies will be unveiling games around the same time. Stay tuned."
