With one of the first games to be welcomed greatly by many 360 fans after 2 years the sequel has now been confirmed.

Although Capcom has decided to change the developers who developed the first game. The developers working on the sequel are based in Canada and they go by the name 'Blue Castle'. They've currently only developed two titles called 'The Bigs' & 'MLB Front Office Manager' which is yet to be released.

Rumours have been flying around that the title has been in development since last year and everyone found it very difficult to keep things quiet.

Dead Rising is a title where all the action is based in a shopping mall or in it's surroundings. The shopping mall is packed with flesh eating male & female zombies, with the main player being capable of using about anything in the shopping mall as a weapon. This game is more of a comedy rather than a horror and it was greatly appreciated back at it's time of release.

Now knowing Capcom this is more likely to end up as a multi platform game since when do you see Capcom exclusives these days?

Everyone's really excited; the team has obviously seen the rumours and it's been hard to keep quiet, but they can't wait to show off the game.

I don't think using a diffrent team will be all that good of an idea, remember what happened with DMC2? *shudders*

Cool! Dead Rising looked like a cool enough game, but I never played it. Didn't you have a limited amount of time to complete the game in? I may be wrong, but I think there was. They should get rid of that.

Yes, that feature annoyed the hell out of me and the one save slot was plain stupid.

    Too true.

The whole Time Limit thing was a way to keep everything happening on real time, I guess. I will admit that while it seemed to keep things realistic, it was pretty annoying.

Capcom being multiplatform will definetly make things easier for me since my 360 is still *bleep*ed up.

YES! I adored the first Dead Rising and signed like 50 petitions to have it ported to the PS3! I would pick up all the versions whenever!

*Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop [Wii, XBOX360]

Isn't it already a multiplatform? Or do you mean being on all 3 systems?

Anyway I didn't really play the first one cause of being on 360, doubt it would be ported. But I'll check this game out on a rental if it comes out for the PS3.

I just picked up Dead Rising about a month ago. I'd never played it, and it was only $20, so I gave it a try. Haven't beaten it yet (have barely had time to play games lately), but it's a great game.
