By new equipment, does it mean the Obsidian and Scorpion rigs, because PSN had those before Dead Space launch.

Nice! I wasn't expecting new content so soon, thought I don't know why I'm so excited. For a good while now, I've been very watchful of the direction that DLC is moving to. I don't want to start buying half finished games and be forced to buy the rest in installments.

Why do we have to wait on the PSN though

Well don't look now but the President of EPic games is thinking about doing just that.

That's a different matter. One, I'm talking about purposefully developing an unfinished product as to string people along and ultimately take advantage of the gamer's interest/money, whereas Capps is speaking about keeping the industry healthy financially.

DRM has all but killed PC gaming thanks to the stupid pirates.
Now DLC will usher in a new DRM with partial games, at least that is what EPIC wants. This of course is in response to used Game sales.... I bet Gamestop will love that. DLC is okay as long as it dose'nt take away from the story and game play. DLC should enhance the game not complete it.
