Vicious Engine Signed to SCEE

Electronic Theatre reports on the news that Vicious Cycle Software have signed an agreement with Sony Computer Entertianment Europe to utilise Vicous Engine as part of their middleware...

    So they've already made the Vicious Engine 2 for next gen platforms, so SCEE gets the outdated Vicious Engine?

    It's middleware and will probably be harvested, Sony will take they tech they need and add it to their in-house engines while spreading the love to other 1st and 2nd party developers like Guerilla and Insomniac, it doesn't matter if it's an old version they probably only want a certain few tools from it they haven't got the man hours to develop themselves.
