Those Fable II LE DLC Codes Are Being Sent Out by Microsoft

Were you one of the people who did not get their exclusive content code in your Fable 2 LE box? If so, I hope you contacted Microsoft about it because they are beginning to send out the replacement codes!

Microsoft has sent out the codes enabling your Limited Edition content for Fable II today. Boxes of the LE version of Fable II were shipped off without the content codes due to some miscellaneous error, adding to the pre-existing feeling that consumers were being 'ripped-off', considering the LE had already been stripped of multiple goodies prior to shipping...

    Anybody can get this code.
    I tried to get a code even though I've already downloaded the DLC and they sent me another one.
    I guess the Fable II Limited Collector's Edition content not so limited anymore story turned out to be true.

        I thought you had the LE edition, did you get any message from Microsoft? I just got my extra code a few hours ago, it may take a bit of time to send them all out.

      Problem is that the LE edition really just fell apart. And since there was no check in-game to see who had what, you are correct: as long as you signed up at the correct Microsoft page anyone could sign up to get this code. They used the honor system, which, obviously is flawed.

          It does say it may take up to 10 days to be emailed the code.

    I don't know how actually but Microsoft CAN tell
    I've heard about people trying and some getting emails back saying 'sorry you dont qualify for this DLC'

      Well I hope we can get to the bottom of this. If anyone reading has received (and used) a code who did not purchase the LE, you should help solve this issue by posting your results here.

    I just got my code despite not buying the LE version or living in North America.

    The system works!

    I read somewhere that it was only in North America that some boxes had missing codes, so they may check your IP address before sending the code. Or maybe they are still sending them out and haven't got to everyone yet.

    I was just on Ebay and some people are paying more than $20 USD for a code to be emailed to them. Now that's just crazy.

    Someone could make a bit of money by making a bunch of Xbox live profiles requesting codes then selling them on Ebay.
    Anyone who does this deserves 500 evil points.
    Maybe I shouldn't be putting this shady idea in peoples heads, but oh well.
