Halo Wars: no chance for PC

Unlike with past Halo titles, this one will not be coming to PC, according to Ensemble's Graeme Devine. Oddly, he says Microsoft may say different, but he's saying never.

"Zero. Never. I'm going to go on the record and say never ever! Microsoft may go and announce it, but I'll say never."

Devine went on to stress that the forthcoming RTS has been designed with console gaming in mind, and that this where the game will stay.

    That is sad to hear. I was going to wait a couple of years for the PC version rather than play the console one.

      That's what there trying to get around.

      This RTS has been built from the ground up to work well on consoles and first impression's seems like its coming along nicely.

      I would like it on PC, but it look's like its going to be one kick ass RTS.

      It's hardly a title people would buy an Xbox 360 for, so that's a moot point.

        I disagree, I think the name like Halo will attract many to the 360 like the others have done.

          Well, agreed, Bandito, except for those who play Halo at their friends house and haven't yet bought the system or game themselves. I'm sure there's a handful of those out there.

          I don't see what that has to do with anything BA? What I said was, the game has Halo on it, and people will flock to get it. Thus my point.

    Meh. With Dawn of War 2 and Star Craft 2 and probably another batch of great PC RTS's coming out, I don't think I'll miss Halo Wars at all.

    I have an odd feeling that within some years time we'll be seeing this on the PC as well.

    Something just tells me that Devine will kinda be forced or something . . .

    It's understandable, since this game is built from the start specifically for the 360, it will probably be too easy on the PC.
