Half Life is now officially ten years old. The story has it right, makes us all feel old. lol. For you too young to remember, there was a time before the Combine when us gamers played a scientist caught up in bureaucratic white tape and intrigue while also dealing with an alien invasion at a little facility called Black Mesa. Valve is now offering Half-Life for just 98¢ in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the company's debut title. Launched 10 years ago today, Half-Life was greeted with overwhelming review scores (Metacritic of 96%), earned over 50 Game of the Year Awards, and birthed a franchise with over 20 million units sold...

    Half-Life was on the PS2?!

I don't recall Half life being on the PS2, I believe it on the xbox 1 though.

It was indeed on the PS2. It had an exclusive expansion not found on the PC either, that was until, some people managed to unofficially port it.

=D Good game for PS2 I might add.

Oddly enough it seems that version never did come out for xbox 1, instead Half-Life 2 did.

      The forum is dead.

The PS2 version was incredibly buggy when I played it on the PS3. Don't know if this is down to the PS3's emulation or if there were problems with the game itself.

Anyway, I'd get it on PC just to be safe.
