Some people were saddened that Afrika would not make its way to the US. Others didn't care. But after National Geographic got into the gaming biz, they announced that they will bring a game called National Geopraphic: Africa. It is the same game but just under another name.

For those of you hoping for a North American release of Afrika—also known as Hakuna Matata—help is coming from the most unlikely of places: National Geographic. The company has decided to get into the games business, and will be publishing the game as National Geographic: Africa. It is expected to be released sometime next month.

Given the success of products like the Planet Earth series of DVDs, and Endless Ocean on the Wii, it is clear that there is a market for this type of entertainment. At the very least, we finally get to play Afrika.

I hardly think most Americans were that pissed over it. I think the game is going to blow tbh.
