The Army wants in on games. I can personally say after attending my first video game convention, that they had two different booths set up with the emphasis on games (with no doubt the real purpose being to sign you up into the army).

The Army has been working with video games for years now - after all, I'm sure we all know about America's Army, the recruiting tool free FPS title from the Army that you can download for your PC. However, the Army has also used modified versions of games like Operation: Flashpoint and Full Spectrum Warrior to help train their GIs via the virtual battlefield. Hell, the Army has even begun to trail soldiers with virtual firing ranges - although from personal experience I can tell you that they play like a big, broken version of Duck Hunt.
