The decade old StarCraft has been given a new patch courtesy of Blizzard. Dubbed Patch 1.16, the update fixes several bugs and exploits throughout the title.

Patch 1.16 offers some optimizations: "[StarCraft] now only uses as much CPU as it needs to run smoothly." In-game chat (excluding whispers) is now saved in the replays. There's some bug fixes and the removal of several exploits including Terrans drop-anywhere nukes and some additional Zerg exploits as well.

I can't believe some place there are still Blizzard employees working on this game, which came out like 10 years ago.

That's Blizzard for ya. No one polishes games more, I don't think.

Too bad this patch has been causing many bugs as well. Their CPU usage-reducer has caused thousands of players to lag unexpectedly and even KeSPA (the Korean eSports Association) has stated the pro gamers will keep using version 1.15.3 in the professional leagues until it is fixed.
