Professor Layton movie coming, more games too?

Siliconera reports an animated film based on the Professor Layton games is coming to Japan January 2010.

As well, this is news to me, so perhaps it is to you too: Layton is actually a trilogy in that country (where it has succeeded terribly well); it seems highly unlikely the other two titles won't be released here, given its comparable popularity. As for the movie, who knows!

Unlike the live action movie released in last year, Professor Layton The First Movie is an animated film. The movie will have a brand new story and it is slated for release in Japan in January 2010. Famitsu speculates that the title “First Movie” sparks the possibility of a series of Professor Layton movies. Sure, why not? Give him an anime series too. The Professor Layton series is huge in Japan.

    Well I knew about the trilogy, but not the movie. I LOVED the game, and hope they release the rest out here in the states!! I only thought they were wrapping up the third one and the second was just released in Japan in the Summer.
