Sony has launched something new to their UK based playstation website, its called MyPSN. Which allows you to use your PSN ID to track friends, create a personal and portable ID and to partake in events. This is currently only for UK ps3 owners, but you can always use your UK account
Sony have finally taken a page out of Microsoft's book by launching MyPSN. MyPSN allows gamers to track online friends, create a personal and portable ID and also allows the ability to take part in various events.
Your ID contains your PSN avatar, Online ID, current mood, favourite console and more, all of which can be embedded to be used in forum signatures.
Sony also say that 'Over time, the portable ID will evolve to include Trophies and achievments.'
To make use of this new MyPSN head over to http://uk.playstation.com/psn/ and sign up.

Here's my US account:
As you can see it works fine. You just need to log in with your email address and password (the same one you use to sign into PSN). Skip the second step which imports any old accounts that you have (unless you had a previous eu.playstation.com account like I did), and then your ready to go. If you want you can also register your PS3.
gamertagsportable ID's sorted though I do hope they plan to add more themes and allow you to select your own favourite game rather than force you to select out of a few they chosen. Here is mine for the sake of having one and no I don't play SOCOM
Edit: WTF why's it get sent twice
Need more games.
