Blizzards hit MMORPG, World of Warcraft and Visa have teamed up to bring to you 13, yes 13 different WoW styled credit cards for your spending needs.

The offer an introductory APR rate of 0% and then 9.99% after that. Also, with your first purchase on your new World of Warcraft Visa you will get a free month of game time. So, signup for a credit card, buy a bag of chips with your visa, get a free month of WoW. Cancel said credit card and not only do you have a nice looking WoW credit card but you just got a free months worth of play for buying a bag of chips or something trivial along those lines.

Downside....US Residents only (for the time being).

But of course... Let the Americans (no offense to normal people) have fun with new stuff and then after a few years give it to us, Europeans, second-hand preferably...

That Visa card doesn't look that eye catching. The baby blue Barclays card still in my opinion looks the best.

I don't really see the point of having a world of warcraft credit card, though the free month is nice I guess, but I wouldn't get a credit card just for that.

If there are 13 styles, can you sign up and cancel 13 times to collect all 13? .

Yea, just make sure you by waffles each time. That way you get a year + 1 month of game time to your World of Warcraft account. I'm sure they won't ban people for abusing it.

I was curious about the 13 designs. I found a list of all the cards in the application section and cleaned it up and put them tighter together so that it would fit better on the site. They look pretty nifty to me.

One thing of interest is that they ask for your game character name when you start the application process, I wonder if they add it to the card? (and no, I didn't get one of these, I don't qualify anyway)

If you did qualify ie: they allowed Canada applicants. Would you get one? / which one would you get?

I'd probably go for the dwarf or Tauren...of course the draenei one looks good too!

I would be vastly entertained if someday I see a character's name in real life that I know online on some random 300lb sociopath's credit card as I'm charging his year's worth of twinkies to it.

Night Elves ftw! I don't give a damn about WoW, but WarCraft III is a different story, heh. They should have a better plan...like every $50-100 you spend will get you a free month of WoW.
