      I will admit now that Home is going to be here tomorrow im a little excited...but im still expecting some sort of huge flaw in the service tomorrow.

      Hopefully not though! Lets hope Home is a success!

    Yeah this is the Beta which has already been online for awhile but it's going public tomorrow. Kinda exciting. I can dust off my PS3 to check it out

    What is home again, not to be negative or anything, I just havent really been using my PS3 and i would like to more....

    Would anybody care to explain?

    Home is a free piece of networking software to be on available free on every PS3. Basically it's a bit like how a MMO functions, you make an avatar and can chat with other people's avatar's. You can also directly launch into a game from Home with friends, download content and go to events only available in Home. Overall it's pretty neat.

    At launch, it'll be little more than a 3D representation of Wii's Channels of the "NXE", functionwise. It may be more interactive, does it does the same basic job. As for where it'll be in a few years however, well, that's up for debate...


    In my mind, Home isn't for the Hardcore. It's to attract the Hardcore's brothers and sisters, partners, mums and dads to the PLAYSTATION3. And should this work, this is when we'll see Home take off...
