Recently our friend Soulja Boy challenged MTV Multiplayer writer Stephen Totilo to a match on Xbox LIVE. Well Totilo enlisted the advice of Epic's Cliff Bleszinski (Gears designer) and Bungie's Luke Smith (Halo designer) on how to guarantee victory, and it's entirely amusing. Read on -- there's more at the source.

Here's Dude Huge's advice:

• Use your smoke grenades to incapacitate him and then rush in with a chainsaw finish.
• The one two punch of melee plus shotgun is always a good thing.
• When in doubt, bring up “Braid” and how trippy it was. He’s likely to start spouting and become distracted.

On to Bungie, whose analysis of Soulja Boy's tactics and tendencies is spot on and filled to the brim with win.

In a one-on -one scenario with Soulja Boy, you’re dealing with a guy who barely pushes a 1.0 kp/d (kills per death) at level 14. Contrary to his self-professed cranking, Soulja Boy ain’t no Robocop.

Why? I see nothing in this article that would warrant such a hatred.

And one young idiot is obviously a great representation of a genre of music right?

Whether or not he's a good representation of the genre, I still don't like rap. Get over it.

lol. You're obviously entitled to your own music preference, but don't try to justify it through something as petty and insignificant as this.

That's all I'm trying to say.

It was wrong to say he's a representation of rap, because clearly he isn't. That was my mistake.

But my musical preference remains. And I see we've agreed on that.

Why the *bleep* do we keep giving this guy attention?!

I hope everyone realizes that all this attention we're giving him is EXACTLY what be wants. Celeb or no celeb, there are TONS of people/gamers out there JUST like him! What makes him so special from the other morons out there?

Chaut this isn't directed to you or anyone, but I'm really tired of the ignorant hatred people make about him. You dislike his music? It's not your taste or preference? That's cool. But to say I *bleep*ing hate him or call him names is not only ridiculous but makes you worse. Soulja Boy is trying to have fun on games and internet. He's joking around. Hating someone based of them joking around having fun is stupid. I understand the music bit and how you may not like it but the rest is just sad.

I really wish we either had no articles of Soulja Boy or people actually learn to grow the hell up for once.

What a joke. His music is terrible and judging from his gaming stats, his gaming is terrible to.

    All he is is talk.

If a crappy rapper and an even crappier gamer challenged me, I would, go straight for Cliffy B to help me out too.

[EDIT] I mean that in the way, that it would pretty much guarantee my victory if it wasn't already guaranteed.
