Zavvi cuts Xbox 360 price to £99, PS3 to £269.99

Strategy Informer reports that Zavvi is currently offering the Xbox 360 Arcade pack for £99, making this the lowest price point in the consoles history. The PlayStation 3 has also been given a price cut by £30 to £269.99.

Zavvi has reduced the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade SKU to £99.99, making it the lowest price point for the console since the system was launched.

The Premium 360 pack has also been reduced in price to £149.99, while the Elite gets cut to £199.99. These cuts are expected to last until Christmas Day.

    It's only been out 3 years?! I can't even buy a Nintendo DS for that price and it's a *bleep*ing handheld lol, sure it is the really bad Arcade package but at that price the HDD isn't that expensive these days, easy to make it a 20/60Gb version.

    That should boost sales. Game prices are being massively slashed in the pre-Christmas sales, I'm not surprised consoles are.
