Factor 5 is certainly a hot topic at the moment, in case you didn't know. First there was an employee who voiced their concerns in a blog. These included late payment, poor health care and the scrapping of a long term project. That's not all, he also mentioned people getting the sack... before Santa comes this year.

A new source has come forward to anonymously point out it's all true, though the blogger has since removed the post and left their job. There was said to be 37 people sacked, poor pay, and a possible lawsuit for the poor ex employee of Factor 5.

The source, who wished to remain anonymous, said 37 people were laid off from the San Rafael, Calif. studio on Friday afternoon. Around 38 people remain, he said.

Since his blog posting, Baker has resigned from the studio. Our source said the widespread news coverage of Baker's post "was quite shocking" to the artist. "He's young, and was totally devastated by his new found fame. He didn't think anything of it, innocently posting his heartfelt concerns."

But that might not be the end of the effects surrounding the post, which was later deleted. "The kicker is, Factor 5 is thinking of suing [Baker] for good measure."

Arg I was going to post this.

Anyway, what a shame. I would have liked to see that project.

      Sorry LPF. (<3)

It's quite the same and pretty bad considering all the stuff surrounding them right now. I reckon if they try to sue the ex employee only a load of bad will come from it.

My heart goes out to all of them. Really unfortunate, but suing him afterwards. I completely understand maybe why they are doing it, but isn't that akin to taking a dump on the corpse of someone you already stabbed in the back?
