Big companies are notorious for not listening. Sony was one of them. They have changed. Sony now are asking Home's users for ideas on how to fix and update Home.

Sony kept saying it, but we finally understand what they meant when they said that Home would be expanded "based on consumer feedback." A SCEE community manager, MusterBuster, started a thread on the European PlayStation forums, trying to figure out why people were congregating around the PSP-3000 adverts all the time. After learning that people enjoy dancing to the advert's music the thread quickly evolved into a discussion of how best to deliver more music to Home users.

Suggestions came in many forms, such as a jukebox (as can be found in the US Home Plaza), downloadable podcasts, or a live radio show. The latter seemed to elicit the biggest response, with suggestions including live DJs, gaming news segments and "PSN in" (rather than "phone in") competitions. We'd like to think that all of these ideas are now being discussed internally at SCEE. Hopefully we'll see something come of the discussion relatively soon (though, setting up a radio show won't happen overnight).

More "free" items so those not willing to fill up their wallet with real world money can still enjoy the experience.

Home will sport many ways to gain virtual money, one being talked about and stated by Sony is the Use of Trophy's.

Yes, totally agree. Although I have bought somethings from it. I'd like the ability to change the colour of chairs etc that you buy. The summerhouse stuff is just the same as the studio stuff but in black ¬¬. At least it looks like that from the previews.

So they finally got onto that PSP-3000 'whole world in your hands' song being so damn catchy! Can't wait to see if this radio idea goes well and finally gets put on Home.

Yeah, I think this is just another Second Life clone, though dancing to the Whole world in your hands ad is fun!

The legal would be to much for Sony's Sacklawyers (I adopted the term Sacklawyers after Sony shut down Sackbook, the LBP facebook)
And Sony don't spend any money when they won't get 10 times as much back. They're cheap.

They could charge a minimal fee to get in, you could chat with your friends and watch a good flick at the same time.
